Turbine Laboratory

Rainpower's turbine laboratory in Trondheim has played key role in testing and developing new turbines since 1985. 

The impressive results from the laboratory are the result of the team's high levels of expertise and extensive experience in hydropower technology together with laboratory equipment of high standard, 

The laboratory organizes an annual upgrading conference featuring presentations covering everything from academic subjects to practical project implementation. 

Both in terms of the actual quality of the tests and their implementation, feedback from customers who participated in the final model tests were, without exception, extremely positive. Rainpower's customers are on record describing the laboratory as a world leader.
